“ We visited Chafo & Nina a few months ago and were absolutely delighted. Although it was actually a private event that evening, they spontaneously made room for us for two – that alone speaks volumes about their hospitality. The food was incredibly delicious, freshly cooked, and presented with great care. You can immediately tell that this is a family-run business with heart. The service was attentive and warm: empty glasses were noticed right away, and they regularly checked if everything was alright – without being intrusive. The value for money is also excellent. For us, it was a wonderful change from the usual Asian or Greek restaurants – Bulgarian cuisine is far too rare these days. The ambiance is rather simple and unassuming, so if you're not expecting upscale decor, this is the place for you. It was perfectly sufficient for us, as the taste, friendliness, and atmosphere were absolutely convincing. Another convenient feature: card payments are accepted. In short: We thoroughly enjoyed our visit, will definitely be back, and highly recommend Chafo & Nina! ”

“ This is a family-run Bulgarian restaurant. There were five of us, and we were the only guests that Saturday. The ambiance is very open and bright; we prefer a cozier, more subdued atmosphere. The service was very attentive and quick, and they fulfilled our every wish. The food was absolutely top-notch, all freshly prepared, wonderfully flavorful, and delicious. Everyone loved it. The prices are reasonable, even quite affordable. Here you get incredibly tasty Balkan cuisine, freshly made and very reasonably priced. Oh, and we received our food almost simultaneously. Card payment was accepted, and of course, we left the tip in cash. We will definitely go there more often; it's a nice change from Italian and Greek restaurants. Highly recommended! ”

“ The restaurant is very inconspicuous. It's located right next to Edeka. When we arrived, there was another couple there, but they left at 7:30 p.m. We were there from 7:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. There was no one else there. It's a shame, because the staff and the food are excellent. The food was freshly prepared and lovingly presented. There were six of us, including two children, and it was great value for money. The food was delicious and still hot when it arrived. What bothered us a bit was that we didn't all get our food at the same time. By the time we got our food, everyone else had already finished. However, there was only one cook, and she prepared everything fresh. You can't have everything. All in all, highly recommended and the service was excellent! We'd be happy to come back next time we're in Wittenberg! ”
